McKENZIE, Tenn. - A Celebration of Life for Nellie Ann Moseley Hale is Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 2 p.m at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. until service time.

Mrs. Hale, 82, died Friday, November 17, 2023 at Charter Senior Living of Paris.  She retired from Norandal, was a member of First United Methodist Church, and Beta Sigma Phi, Theta Delta Chapter service sorority in McKenzie. She was a longtime member of the Carroll County Election Commission.

She enjoyed painting, gardening, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. She was born in McKenzie on January 13, 1941, to J.T. and Romie Moseley.

She is survived by her daughter, Gina(Deryl) Gore of Bartlett, her son, Jason ( Michelle) Hale of Cookeville, three grandchildren, Matt Gore (Chelsea), Anna Hale and Audrey Hale and two great-grandchildren, Harper Guye and Brooks Gore, sister, Nancy (Wayne) Strickland of Paducah, Kentucky and brother, Tom ( Karen) Moseley of Midlothian, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Gene Hale and her parents.
