HUNTINGDON (September 2) — Lori Nolen is the new councilperson in the Town of Huntingdon. She was selected to fill the vacancy created when Vice-Mayor Nina Smothers assumed the office of mayor upon the death of Mayor Dale Kelley.

Lori Nolen is New Huntingdon Councilperson

HUNTINGDON (September 2) — Lori Nolen is the new councilperson in the Town of Huntingdon. She was selected to fill the vacancy created when Vice-Mayor Nina Smothers assumed the office of mayor upon the death of Mayor Dale Kelley.
 
Nolen is a graduate of Henry County High School, with a bachelors degree from Union University and  a masters degree from the University of Georgia. She was an assistant professor of art at Union University before being selected as the executive director of the Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center, 2009 to 2020, when she started her own business, LiLo+Company.
 
Lori served on the Carroll County Commission and is a member of the Carroll County Electric Board.
 
She is married to Clay Nolen and they have two boys.
