Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Peggy Allen Winchester are Friday, November 24, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday at 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Caledonia Cemetery, McKenzie.
Mrs. Winchester, 80, died at her residence on Monday, November 20, 2023. She was a member of Long Heights Baptist Church and retired from HIS Trezevant. She was born in McKenzie on March 20, 1943 to Connie and Onie Pickler Allen.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (John) Sommers of Jackson, and Teresa (Jamie) Johnson of Gleason, son, Ronnie (Blanche) Tegethoff of Brunswick, Georgia, three grandchildren, Victoria Watkins, Brittany Tegethoff and Jacob Johnson and one great-grandson, Carson Andrew Nolen.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Billy Tegethoff and Alford Winchester and two brothers, Detroy Allen and Charles Allen.
