KNOXVILLE — Claudia Patrick, a 2020 graduate of McKenzie High School, is a color guard member of The Pride of the Southland for a second year. Claire Cottrill, a 2021 graduate of McKenzie High school, is a first year trumpet player for The Pride Of The Southland. Both were in the McKenzie Marching Rebels Band.

KNOXVILLE — Claudia Patrick, a 2020 graduate of McKenzie High School, is a color guard member of The Pride of the Southland for a second year. Claire Cottrill, a 2021 graduate of McKenzie High school, is a first year trumpet player for The Pride Of The Southland. Both were in the McKenzie Marching Rebels Band.

Recognized as one of the most prestigious college marching bands in the United States, the “Pride” energizes the UT campus, the state of Tennessee, and fans around the world during the fall semester, with its powerful 340-member sound and showmanship. In addition to performing at all home University of Tennessee football games, the band performs at many away games, bowl games, presidential inaugurations, and at selected marching band exhibitions.

Claudia is the daughter of Dr. Duane and Erica Patrick and Claire is the daughter of Keith and Andrea Cottrill.
