DUI Arrest — Tre’von Woods, 23, of Jackson, was arrested for DUI on September 15. Woods drove into a DUI checkpoint around 11 p.m. where deputy Smith was working. His vehicle reportedly smelled like marijuana, in which Woods said he had smoked 30 minutes before. The deputy then asked Woods to pull his vehicle to the side of the road to perform a sobriety test in which he failed and was then arrested.
Narcotic Arrest — Michael W. Hubble, 39, of Greenfield, was arrested for possession of schedule II meth, simple possession of schedule VI marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felon in possession of a weapon. On 9-15-23, Deputy Bongiovanni observed a dodge ram fail to maintain its lane on highway 190 in Trezevant. He then conducted a traffic stop on Mr. Hubble. Mr. Hubble was excessively agitated and refused to allow the vehicle to be searched. The deputy then had a K9 run the vehicle which the K9 had a positive alert. Inside the vehicle a small baggie containing methamphetamine was found, also marijuana, a glass pipe with a crystal-like substance inside it, and a .22 long rifle in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Hubble was then arrested.
