Carroll County Sheriff’s Reports

Stolen Vehicle — A stolen vehicle was found stripped and abandoned July 22 on Moss Creek Road.

Deputy Kenny Tucker reported that he responded to a call about a vehicle in a ditch. When he arrived at the scene, Tucker found a white Chrysler with no tags. The front fender, hood, and bumper had all been removed from the vehicle, and all the seats and the radio had been taken out of the interior. A computer check of the VIN number showed that the vehicle was stolen out of Madison County. Tucker contacted the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, and they confirmed the stolen status and requested the vehicle be towed to Carroll County Motors in Huntingdon.
