Public Intoxication — Markus L. Sneed, 38, McKenzie, was charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest on September 5.
 
Deputy Cody Coleman along with other deputies were in the Walnut Circle Area trying to serve a warrant. During that time one of the deputies noticed Markus Sneed walking out of an apartment building and believed that he had an open warrant for his arrest. Dispatch confirmed that Mr. Sneed did have an active warrant. The deputies attempted to apprehend Mr. Sneed, who fled on foot. Deputy Hamilton cut him off and forced him to the ground. Mr. Sneed continued to resist arrest. Once Mr. Sneed was in the patrol unit, he admitted to smoking meth 4 to 5 hours prior to his arrest. He was transported the Carroll County jail and charged with resisting arrest and public intoxication.
 
Vandalism — On September 6, around 4:22 a.m., Mr. Lawrence Vetrone called the Carroll County Sherriff’s Department after he noticed his truck had been vandalized. Upon the deputies arrival to the residence on Roundhouse Road, Mr. Vetrone met the deputies at his truck. The back window had been shattered and both front and rear tires were flattened, along with scratch marks all along the passenger side of the truck. Mr. Vetrone stated that in the last month, he has had a problem with two individuals and did have a female that used to live with him until he made her leave because she was causing problems. Mr. Vetrone valued the damage to be a total of $2,600. This is still an open investigation.
 
Driving Violation — Alexis Chance Strbac, 36, McKenzie, was placed under arrest for driving with a suspended drivers license: fourth offense on September 6 near Veterans Drive.
 
Deputy Cody Coleman initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired registration tags in Huntingdon. Upon contact with the driver, Alexis Srtbac. A check of her driver’s license showed a suspended status for driving while suspended.
 
Srtbac has three priors to driving on suspended or revoked. Deputy Coleman placed her under arrest.
 
Public Intoxication — Gary Kevin Webb, 50, Highway 70 East of Jackson was charged with public intoxication in Carroll County on September 9.
 
Deputy Jeff Winberry responded to a crash near Aldridge Lane and Woodhill Road. Dispatch advised the deputies of a gentleman leaving the scene and walking down Highway 70. The subject did have a baseball bat in his hands, the deputy advised him to get rid of the bat, which he did. Deputy Winberry unsuccessfully tried to converse with the subject who identified as Gary Webb but was unable to keep a conversation going. Mr. Webb continued to walk away, Deputy Townes pulled onto the scene, and placed Mr. Webb under arrest and transported him to the Carroll County Jail.
