The Homemade Jam Band Brings Kentucky Bluegrass to McKenzie

Posted
The summer concert series Nights on Broadway once again relocated to the McKenzie Park Theatre on July 21 due to excessive heat.

Beginning at 7 p.m., the Homemade Jam Bluegrass Band entertained a large audience with songs, old and new, reinvented in the bluegrass genre. The band, which is native to southwest Kentucky, sold shirts at the event to fund their upcoming album.

The HandHeld food truck sold tacos, sliders and other items to attendees starting at 5:30 p.m.

Nights on Broadway continues every other Thursday until September 15. Coming up, Flashback performs August 4, the Fajita Bros perform August 18, the Cool Daddy Band performs September 1 and the Fajita Bros return September 15 to close out the summer series.

Music begins at 7 p.m. on Banner Row in McKenzie. In case of rain or excessive heat, Nights on Broadway will move inside the Park Theatre.
