Twin Oaks Buildings Hosts Grand Opening

Posted
McKENZIE — Twin Oaks Buildings in McKenzie hosted a grand opening of the new business on Thursday, October 27 at 25335 Highway 22, across from Haven Steel, in the Henry County portion of McKenzie.

Troy Buttrey, Keith Priestley and Jerry Sawyers are the owners of the portable storage building and garage company. The company sells and rents to own the custom built buildings.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by city officials, friends and family, Keith Priestley said the three owners had previous experience in the rent-to-own business and the attendant financing. The offerings include 8-foot by 10-foot up to 14-foot by 40-foot, wood or metal buildings, with the option of matching other structures such as the house. They can be custom built and designed for tiny houses. Twin Oaks’ headquarters is made from one of the portable buildings.

The day-to-day operations are run by Kristin Routon and Melanie Sawyers.

Mayor Jill Holland welcomed the new business and told the owners not to hesitate to ask if they need something from the city.
