Welcome to our new web site!
To give our readers a chance to experience all that our new website has to offer, we have made all content freely avaiable, through October 1, 2018.
During this time, print and digital subscribers will not need to log in to view our stories or e-editions.
I was raised by my favorite WWII veteran, my father. His generation is often referred to as “The Greatest Generation”. Each of us, who is old enough, knows someone from that generation who made a significant impact on our lives. They were our teachers, our coaches, our pastors, our neighbors, friends, and our mentors. These men and women came home from war and started families and businesses and made this nation a great nation.
