McKENZIE — The Jerry Wilcoxson Memorial Golf Tournament honors the legacy of the late Dr. Jerry Wilcoxson during Bethel’s Homecoming week. Homecoming is a time for Wildcats from all over to come back home and celebrate years of students, faith, education, and community.
During Dr. Wilcoxson’s time at Bethel, he served as the athletic director, coach, and professor. After he died in 2015, the annual golf tournament was named in his memory to honor his many contributions to Bethel golf and to the athletic program.
Funds raised from the golf tournament help support Bethel’s men’s and women’s golf teams.
The tournament is Friday, October 21. It starts with lunch, 11 a.m. to noon with tee off at noon.
