MARTIN — Several Carroll County students received degrees from the University of Tennessee at Martin during spring commencement ceremonies May 6 and 7, 2022. UT Martin hosted three in-person commencements to promote safety for graduates and their families while recognizing the class of spring 2022’s accomplishments. Each commencement was live-streamed via Facebook and YouTube for those unable to attend. more

HUNTINGDON (June 30) — Carroll County Electric Department Board of Directors held its first meeting under new general manager, Ryan Drewry. It marks the first change in leadership since July 1, 2014, when immediate past manager Danny Brawner was selected to lead the utility. more

Economic Development Council recently appointed Mrs. Cheryl Oglesby-Townes as the executive director of Northwest Tennessee Economic Development Council located in Dresden. Northwest Tenn.
