Domestic Assault — Juan Antonio Cruz, 49, of Trezvant, was arrested for domestic assault, interference with emergency calls, and vandalism on October 14. Deputy Hardin responded to a call regarding a female texting her friend stating she was being beaten by her boyfriend. Upon arrival, he could hear screaming and yelling inside the residence. Once inside the home, the victim stated she was trying to get the defendant to leave. The victim stated Cruz slapped her on both sides of her face and broke her iPhone so she couldn’t call 911. The defendant was asked to quit yelling multiple times without compliance and then got arrested. more
Domestic Assault — Richard B. Hinson, 45, of Huntingdon, was arrested on October 10 for domestic assault. The victim, Desiree Kail, said that Hinson threw her off the bed onto the floor and pinned her to the ground after a heated argument. A witness also said that Hinson physically assaulted Kail. After all the information needed was gathered, Officer Roberts escorted the defendant to Carroll County Jail on charges of domestic assault. more

Carrying a Weapon on Campus — Monterrio J. Johnson, 21, Memphis, was charged with Carrying a Firearm on School Property after a handgun was discovered in his vehicle on October 11 on the Bethel University campus. more
Nicholas J. Bowman, 20, of Cedar Grove, was arrested on September 26 for vandalism and evading arrest. Officer Hedge went to a residence on Cox Street due to a complaint of the subject tearing a house apart. more

Ricky L. Sanders, 60, of Huntingdon and Alan Gordon Eccleston, 52. Of Huntingdon, were arrested for possession of schedule II meth and drug paraphernalia on October 9. more

Driving on Suspended License — Jarquez Wilson, 23, of McKenzie, was arrested on September 28 for driving on a suspended license. Deputy Scott pulled over Wilson for speeding when he then learned his license was suspended. more

Drug Arrest — Randy Anderson, 40 Morris Street, McKenzie, was charged with four counts of possession following the execution of a search warrant of his residence. more

Driving Under the Influence — Mitchell Clark, 34, Connie Allen Road, McKenzie, was charged with Driving Under the Influence - Third Offense on September 25. more
Criminal Trespass, Resisting Arrest — Keshun Deeonte Smith, 20, Lexington Tenn., was arrested for Criminal Trespass and Resisting Arrest following an incident at McKenzie City Park on September 21. more
Lamont Treadway, 40, of Bruceton was arrested on September 17 for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule II methamphetamine. Officer Roberts observed a vehicle going 48 in a 35 MPH zone on Buena Vista Road when he initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver was Lamont D. Treadway, who had told the officer that he had smoked marijuana and had a pipe in the vehicle for smoking marijuana. Officer Roberts then searched the vehicle and did find a pipe with meth inside it. more
