Spaghetti Dinner to Benefit McKenzie United Neighbors
McKenzie Senior Citizen Center is hosting a spaghetti dinner to benefit the McKenzie United Neighbors on Friday, April 13, 5 p.m. at the Center on South Main Street. Tickets are $10 and includes spaghetti, garlic bread, drink, salad and dessert.

Shepherd’s Table Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon
The Shepherd’s Table Community Kitchen at First Presbyterian Church in Huntingdon will host a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at the church located at 19835 East Main Street on Sunday, April 14 at 1 p.m.
The Shepherd’s Table Community Kitchen at has been serving delicious dinners for six years. This would not have been possible without the help from volunteers.
If you have assisted or participated in any way, you are invited to attend. Lunch will be served with entertainment and an exciting announcement.

MHS Class Of 2024 Great Pretenders
McKenzie High School Class of 2024 is hosting the Great Pretenders - a variety show featuring seniors and their parents in skits and musical numbers. The event is Saturday, April 13, 7 p.m., and Sunday, April 14, 2 p.m. at Bethel University Bouldin Auditorium.

Spaghetti Fundraiser for United Neighbors
McKenzie Senior Center is hosting an all-you-can-eat spaghetti fundraiser for United Neighbors on Saturday, April 13 at 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person and the dinner menu includes spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, tea, coffee, or water, side salad and dessert. Tickets are available from any member of McKenzie Senior Center or at the center from 12:30-4:30 p.m. McKenzie Senior Center is located at 172 Main Street South in McKenzie. All net proceeds will be donated to United Neighbors.

McKenzie City Council Meets Monthly
The McKenzie City Council meets at 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month.

Revival at Fairview Missionary Baptist Church
Fairview Missionary Baptist Church, McKenzie,is hosting a revival, April 7-12. Sunday services are 6 p.m. and Monday to Friday is 7 p.m.
Speakers for the week are Paul Hollingsworth and L.C. Hollingsworth. A fellowship meal will be Friday night.

911 Board Meet April 16
The Carroll County Emergency Communications District (ECD) Board of Directors meets in regular session on April 16, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting is at 210 Norandal Drive, Huntingdon. Citizens desiring to publicly comment at the meeting on an agenda item must register with the district at 731-986-8911. A copy of the Public Comment Policy may be obtained at the district office at 101 Dillahunty Lane, Huntingdon.

Senator Stevens to Speak at Chamber Forum
State Senator John Stevens (R-Huntingdon) - will speak at the Capitol Forum on Friday, April 12, at the Carroll County Civic Center, Huntingdon. The event starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 9 a.m. This is a free event sponsored by the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce.

Macedonia Community Cake Walk
The Macedonia Community Center, 4680 Highway 423, McKenzie is hosting a cake walk on April 19.
Hamburgers and hotdogs are available at 5:30 p.m. and the cake walk starts at 7 p.m.

Live music will be provided. Bryce Webb is the auctioneer.
The community citizens are proud of the updates to the Center. Come see the new lights and ceiling.

West Carroll Band Benefit
West Carroll Band is hosting a songwriter showcase, dinner, concert and silent auction. The event is Saturday, April 13 at the Carroll County Civic Center. The songwriters include Brice Long, Marla Cannon, and Dylan Altman.
Dinner tickets $45, General Admission (balcony) $20. Doors open at 5 p.m., Silent Auction is 5 to 7:30 p.m., West Carroll Band and Beta Performers are 5:30-6:30 p.m. and the Songwriter Showcase is 6:30 p.m. For more information, phone Jenny Mims at 731-415-3760 or buy tickets at radio731.com/band.

Terry Fire Department Fish Fry
The Terry Volunteer Fire Department is having a fish fry on April 13, beginning at 5 p.m. $15 per plate includes catfish, white beans, coleslaw, French fries, hushpuppies, dessert and drink.

Trezevant to Dedicate Centennial Bank Stage
The Town of Trezevant is holding a ribbon cutting for the opening of the Centennial Bank Stage at the Community Park beside West Carroll Elementary School. This will be held on Sunday April 14 at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served afterwards. The public is invited to attend. Rain date will be Sunday April 21.

Adult Education Classes
Huntingdon Location — Adult Education Building, 14155 Paris Street. Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Classes are offered for one-on-one instruction on Mondays, 1-4 p.m. and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to NOON. For more information, phone 731-364-5481.

Carroll County Commission Meets Monthly
Carroll County Commission meets the second Monday of each month, 7 p.m., in the Conference Room of the Carroll County Office Complex, High Street, Huntingdon. There are no meetings in February and July.

McKenzie TOPS to Meet
The McKenzie TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter meets on Mondays at 3 p.m. at the McKenzie Church of Christ gym. Anyone interested in losing weight can join. For more information, contact Linda Lawrence at 731-352-7309. If no answer, leave a message.
Carroll County Democratic Party Meets
The Carroll County Democratic Party meets the third Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. at 12740 Lexington Street, Huntingdon.

Carroll County Republican Party Meets
Carroll County Republican Party meets monthly each fourth Tuesday, 7 p.m. in the Public Safety Building in Huntingdon. The annual Pasta and Politics Dinner is September 21, 5 p.m. at the Civic Center.

McLemoresville UMC Fourth Sunday Singing, Add-A-Dish
McLemoresville United Methodist Church will host a fourth Sunday singing and add-a-dish meal on April 28 at the church located at 1800 College Street in McLemoresville, Tenn.
