Free BBQ Supper at McKenzie Church of Christ
The McKenzie Church of Christ is hosting a free BBQ supper at the church on Highland Drive on Thursday, May 18, 5 to 7:30 p.m. or until food is gone.

McKenzie Chamber, Industry Banquet June 20
The McKenzie Chamber of Commerce and Industry Banquet is Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 6 p.m. at the Venue at Waddell Place at 894 Joy Sparks Road in McKenzie, Tenn. Tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $40 for Chamber members, $60 for Non-Members and $250 for a table of 8 seats. During the event, awards will be presented to members for the Business Person of the Year, Business of the Year and Non-Profit of the Year. Members are encouraged to attend. The keynote speaker will be Kyle Spurgeon, President and CEO of the Jackson, Tenn. Chamber. Farmville Cemetery Memorial Day
Farmville Cemetery’s annual Memorial Day Servie is Sunday, May 21, 2 p.m. Brother Scott Carter is the speaker. The Cemetery is four miles south of Yuma. Everyone is welcome.

Carroll County E911 Budget Committee to Meet
The Carroll County E911 Budget Committee will meet on Wednesday, May 17 at 11 a.m. at 200 Norandal Drive, Huntingdon (training room at the sheriff’s office).

Carroll County Chamber Golf Tournament
The Chamber’s 25th Annual Golf Tournament is Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Carroll Lake Golf Course. Tee-off is 12:30 p.m. A limit of 18 teams will compete in the golf tournament. A box lunch will be provided starting at noon.
You can also promote your business by being a Hole Sponsor. You can bring your own canopy/tent, set it up at a particular hole, and distribute your “goodies” while promoting your business.

Miss Juneteenth Pageant is June 10
The Miss Juneteenth Pageant is Saturday, June 10, 2023, 2 p.m. at the Webb School, 938 Walnut Avenue, McKenzie. Pageant Entry fee is $25, plus another $5 for entry into each of the special categories. Age groups are 6-10; 11-14, and 15 to 18 years of age. General admission is $5.

Beech Springs Baptist Homecoming, Singing
Beech Springs Missionary Baptist Church’s 175th Homecoming Celebration is Sunday, May 21. Sunday School is 10 a.m. and Worship Service begins at 11 a.m. with the Isbell Family leading the service. Former pastors, Fred Morris and Tony Terrell will preach. Greenfield FBC to Host School’s Out Party
Greenfield First Baptist Church is hosting a School’s Out for Summer Block Party on Saturday, May 20, 4 to 7 p.m. There will be fun and fellowship for all ages with free food, games, jumpers, door prizes and music. Shepherd’s Table Community Kitchen
The Shepherd’s Table community kitchen serves meals the third Tuesday of each month at First Presbyterian Church located at 19835 East Main Street, Huntingdon. Meals are served restaurant style with drive-through available after 6 p.m. It is open to the public and there is no cost. Donations are accepted. All are invited. It is our mission to create a community atmosphere where individuals can come in and have a meal in a comfortable setting. We encourage friendly conversation, prayers and laughter.
