COVID-19 Vaccines Available Free to All Residents 12, Up

NASHVILLE (June 7) — The COVID-19 pandemic is nearing an end as the number of new cases and deaths is dropping precipitously thanks to the widespread availability of vaccinations.

In Tennessee, vaccines are available free of charge through many medical providers, including at each county’s health department, to anyone age 12 and up.

In the state, 34.1 percent of residents are fully vaccinated and an additional 5.7 percent have received at least one dose. A total of 4,940,385 vaccinations have been administered.

In Carroll County, 30.5 percent of the population has been fully vaccinated, with another 4.87 percent receiving at least one dose. A total of 18,101 vaccinations have been administered. The county has recorded 3,659 cases of COVID-19 and 83 deaths. There are 15 active cases in the county.

In Henry County, 30.83 percent of the population has been fully vaccinated, with another 3.43 percent receiving at least one dose. A total of 20,922 vaccinations have been administered. The county has recorded 3,254 cases of COVID-19 and 76 deaths. There are 28 active cases in the county.

In Weakley County, 23.19 percent of the population has been fully vaccinated, with another 3.31 percent receiving at least one dose. A total of 16,684 vaccinations have been administered. The county has recorded 4,195 cases of COVID-19 and 67 deaths. There are 11 active cases in the county.
