Four Arrested in Savannah Williamson Park Triple Homicide Investigation
From the Jul 28, 2026 e-EditionMADISON COUNTY (July 27) — The Madison County Sheriff's Office has made significant progress in the investigation into the July 19 triple homicide and shooting incident that occurred at Savannah Williamson Park, located at 152 Neely Station Road in Denmark, Tenn.
On Sunday, July 19, at approximately 10:34 p.m., Madison County Sheriff's Office Dispatch received multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired at Savannah Williamson Park. Deputies, along with emergency medical personnel and fire personnel, responded immediately to the scene.
Upon arrival, first responders located numerous individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Personnel immediately began providing lifesaving treatment while deputies secured the area to ensure the safety of victims, first responders and the public. Multiple victims were transported to a local hospital by personal vehicles.
As of Monday, three individuals have died as a result of the incident. Two victims were pronounced deceased at the scene, while a third victim was later pronounced deceased at a local hospital. Several additional victims sustained injuries and were transported to area medical facilities for treatment. A total of approximately 12 individuals were injured or killed during the incident.
The investigation revealed that two vehicles, a white Nissan Altima and a silver Honda Accord, were traveling southbound on Neely Station Road immediately prior to the shooting. Investigators determined that occupants of the Honda Accord fired multiple rounds into a crowd attending a party at Savannah Williamson Park. Members of the crowd returned fire toward the Honda Accord.
This exchange of gunfire resulted in the deaths of Jeremiah Forbis, Garrian Greer and Jamarion Burns. Several other individuals sustained gunshot injuries during the incident.
Through an extensive investigation involving witness interviews, forensic evidence, the execution of multiple search warrants and the review of surveillance footage, investigators identified the following suspects involved in the incident:
-Rodney Parker, 21, of Medon, Tenn., identified as the driver of the Nissan Altima, has been charged with Felony Murder in perpetration of Attempted First Degree Murder x3.
-Roshod Parker, 19, of Medon, Tenn., identified as a passenger in the Honda Accord, has been charged with Felony Murder in perpetration of Attempted First Degree Murder x3.
-Ladarius Grimes, 21, of Jackson, Tenn., identified as the driver of the Honda Accord, has been charged with Felony Murder in perpetration of Attempted First Degree Murder x3.
-Tomorris Person, 18, of Jackson, Tenn., identified as a passenger in the Honda Accord, has been charged with Felony Murder in perpetration of Attempted First Degree Murder x3.
Earlier in the investigation, the Madison County Sheriff's Office, assisted by the City of Jackson Police Department, the FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation-Jackson RA, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), executed multiple search warrants at locations throughout Jackson-Madison County, resulting in the collection of additional evidence and the arrests announced Monday.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Investigators continue to pursue additional leads, and additional arrests and charges remain possible as the investigation progresses.
