HUNTINGDON — The following cases were heard in Carroll General Sessions Court on September 8 and 9.

Cases bound over to Carroll County Circuit Court were:

Two defendants were bound over to the Grand Jury of the Carroll County Circuit Court. Joshua Cole, Manley Street, Paris was bound over on multiple charges including attempted aggravated assault, and evading arrest; dismissed driving while license revoked (2nd or subsequent) due to conviction of DUI.

Jacob Saulters, W. Main Street, McKenzie, was bound over for possession of Schedule II Drugs and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.

The following cases resulted in guilty verdicts or guilty pleas:

Rupert Bailey, Ragan Road, Dresden, guilty, contempt of court, 50 fine, cost, and tax.

Charles J. Baker, Griggs Chapel Road, Cedar Grove, guilty of theft up to $1,000, plea bargain, restitution to be paid in full, credit for all jail service since arrest, 90 days to serve, and 8/29 unsupervised probation.

Anthony Beal, Powers Blvd, Waverly, guilty of DUI: First Offense, 11/29 unsuspended, 11/29 unsupervised probation with SSI, $350 fine plus court costs, 48 hrs jail report 9/17/2021, loss of license for one year; dismissed: misdemeanor implied consent law.

Cheryl Elaine Bush, Expressway Church Road, Wildersville, guilty of theft up to $1,000, no contact with retail business, 11/29 unsupervised probation: dismissed; charge of failure to appear.

Kory Cullum, Hopewell Road, Lavinia, guilty of allowing dog to run at large, $50 fine, specifies order restraining dogs.

James Paul Forrest, Hillcourt Circle, Huntingdon, guilty of DUI: Second Offense, $600 fine, cost, and tax, 45 days in jail, report 10/4/2021, credit for 5 days, not to drive in TN for 2 years, supervised probation for 10/14.

John D. Forrest, Clear Lake Road, McKenzie, guilty of vandalism up to $1,000, 120 days in jail, unsupervised probation for 7/29: dismissed; charges of inciting to riot and felony escape.
Michael Gilbert, West Magnolia, McKenzie, guilty of making 911 calls in non-emergency situations, supervised probation for 6 months, unsupervised probation for 5/29, no non-emergency calls.

Michael Dewayne Gregory, Birdsong Road, Holladay, guilty of drivers license to be carried and exhibited, $50 fine, 30 days unsupervised probation; dismissed; charges of leaving scene of accident, immediate notice of accident, registration expired, and financial responsibility law.

Brandon Hartsfield, Old McKenzie Hwy, Paris, guilty of simple possession/casual exchange, $250 fine, cost, and tax, unsupervised probation for 11/29; dismissed; charge of tampering w/evidence-attempted sol and financial responsibility law.

Michael Hollowell, Highway 70, Cedar Grove, guilty of possession or casual exchange of meth, $750 fine, cost, tax, 10/29 unsupervised probation, 30 days in jail, report 10/4/2021; dismissed: charge of possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.

James C. Kyle, Lexington Street, Huntingdon, guilty of meth-possession or casual exchange, $750 fine, cost and tax, 30 days in jail, report 10/11/2021, unsupervised probation 10/29; dismissed; charges of contributing to the delinquency of a child, simple possession/casual exchange, and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.

Nicholas Mineo, Smith Lane, Lexington, guilty of domestic assault and probation violation, supervised probation 11/29, 30 days jail, report 10/11/2021, supervised probation extended 11/29; dismissed; charges of violation of protective order and failure to appear.

Kevin Lee Mingle, Greenfield Hwy 54, Dresden, guilty of driving while license suspended, no sentence.

Chase Norden, E. College Street, Jackson, guilty of failure to appear and evading arrest, 11/29 supervised probation no contact with victims, 180 days in jail/180 days in rehab; dismissed; charge of theft of property - $2,500 to $10,000, meth-possession or casual exchange, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, and joyriding.

Julius Dean Owens, McClure Street, McKenzie, guilty of two counts of simple possession/casual exchange, $1,000 fine, cost and tax, supervised probation for 21mos/28days, 60 days in jail, report 12/06/2021, jail credit for successful completion of 6 mos iop alcohol and drug; dismissed; charges of possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, seat belt violation, and financial responsibility law.

David Carlton Perry, Como Street, McKenzie, guilty of DUI: First Offense, 11/29 suspended, 11/29 supervised probation with SSI, $350 fine plus court costs, serve 30 days, loss of license for 1 year; dismissed; charges of misdemeanor implied consent law, possession of meth with intent, felony possession of a firearm w/intent to go armed, and domestic assault.

Drew R. Smith, McCadams, Huntingdon, guilty of simple possession/casual exchange, $250 fine, cost and tax, supervised probation for 11/29, may be released to unsupervised probation upon credit – pay for 3 drug screens; dismissed; charge of possession of schedule II drugs.

Melissa A. Treadway, Beasley Street, Huntingdon, guilty of simple possession/casual exchange and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, $350 fine, cost and tax.

Robert Lee Treadway, Beasley Street, Huntingdon, guilty of meth-possession or casual exchange, $750 fine, cost and tax, 30 days jail, report 10/11/2021, supervised probation for 10/29; dismissed; charges of simple possession/casual exchange, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, and failure to appear.

Kevin L. Walker, Oaklawn Drive, McKenzie, guilty of theft up to $1,000, $35.00 restitution to victim, no contact with victims, supervised probation for 18mos/8days; dismissed; charges of burglary-auto, resisting arrest, vandalism up to $1,000, possession of schedule VI drugs, leave scene of accident.

Savannah Michelle Whitfield, Lexington Street, Huntingdon, guilty of meth-possession or casual exchange, $750 fine, cost and tax, 30 days in jail; dismissed; charge of possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.

The following cases were dismissed:

Steven Baker, Clearview Avenue, Trezevant, dismissed charge of driving while license revoked.

William J. Koebel, High Street, Hollow Rock, dismissed charges of theft of property - $2,500 to $10,000 and failure to appear.

Kasey Lemke, Green Valley Road, Huntingdon, dismissed charges of inciting to riot and setting fire at certain time w/o a permit.

Ricky J. Lott, Jr, Magnolia Avenue, McKenzie, dismissed charges of inciting to riot, vandalism up to $1,000, and attempted felony escape.

Randy Allen Luther, Woodlawn Avenue, Huntingdon, dismissed charge of disorderly conduct.
Crystal Lynn Ogle, Baker Road, Huntingdon, dismissed charges of possession of schedule II drugs and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.

Shannon M. Russell, Brooks Street, Paris, dismissed charges of driving while license revoked, speeding, and violation of financial responsibility law.

Derek Willis, Wagner Street, Martin, dismissed charge of vandalism up to $1,000.

The following case was granted pre-trial diversions:

Shaun A. Allen, River Road Pike, Nashville, pre-trial diversion for possession of schedule VI drugs and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, no sentence listed.

Andrea Lee Marise, Winchester Street, McKenzie, pre-trial diversion for disorderly conduct, no violent contact.

Kayla Miller, West Lane, Huntingdon, pre-trial diversion for possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia-attempt, $150 fine, cost and tax, 30 days in jail, waived if she appears with proof of 90 days of intensive outpatient A&D treatment, and supervised probation for 10/29.
