Huntingdon Carpet Center Celebrates 50 Years of Serving West Tennessee
From the Jun 23, 2026 e-Edition
Huntingdon Carpet Center is proud to celebrate 50 years of serving Huntingdon, Carroll County and the surrounding communities.
The business began on July 1, 1976, in McLemoresville, Tenn., under the name Crossno Carpet. In April 1977, the business relocated to Huntingdon as Huntingdon Carpet Center, where it has continued to serve customers for nearly five decades.
For 41 years, Huntingdon Carpet Center was owned and operated by Manuel and Lula Crossno. Through their commitment to quality products, honest service and strong customer relationships, they built a business that became a trusted part of the community.
Manuel and Lula retired on April 1, 2017, and sold the business and building to their son, Kevin Crossno, a lifelong resident of Huntingdon. Having worked alongside his parents for 25 years before becoming owner, Kevin has now dedicated 34 years of his life to the family business.
As Huntingdon Carpet Center celebrates this milestone anniversary, the Crossno family reflects on the support they have received throughout the years.
“We cannot thank the people of Carroll County and the surrounding counties enough for their business and support over the past 50 years,” the Crossno family said in a joint statement. “This business has truly been a blessing to our family, and we take great pride in serving our community. Every customer, referral and friendship has helped make this milestone possible.”
The legacy continues into a third generation as Kevin’s daughter, Kensley Crossno Douglas, works part-time alongside her father — carrying forward the family’s tradition of quality materials, dependable service and dedication to customer satisfaction.
Huntingdon Carpet Center is located at 19719 East Main Street in Huntingdon, Tenn. The Crossno family welcomes customers, friends and community members to stop by and celebrate this special anniversary year with them.
As they look toward the future, the family remains committed to the same values that have guided the business for the past 50 years: quality products, honest service and appreciation for the community that has supported them every step of the way.
The Crossno family extends its sincere thanks to everyone who has been a part of this journey and looks forward to serving the area for many years to come.
