    TENNESSEE (July 29) — Average gasoline prices in Tennessee decreased 7.7 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.02/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 3,821 stations in Tennessee. Prices in Tennessee are 7.1 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 34.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 1.2 cents in the last week and stands at $3.78 per gallon.

    McKENZIE (July 24) - Hometown Health Clinic hosted a Back-to-School Blitz Wednesday at the pediatric office on Hospital Drive. The event, with the theme "Homer's Fun Day on the Farm," aimed to remind parents to schedule well visits for their school-age children as well as provide a fun day of activities as the summer break winds down.
