McKenzie Library Requests Community Feedback
From the May 5, 2026 e-EditionThe McKenzie Memorial Library is asking for community feedback in a new effort to improve the Broadway Street facility and its services.
In a brief survey, the library asks the community to rate current library services based on importance, share what services might be missing, and share what makes it easy or difficult to access what they need from the library.
The survey will also help the library board gain a better understanding of who uses the library and for what reasons, according to Ceil Pomphrey, library director.
“In filling out the survey, community members are directly influencing what the library does,” Pomphrey said. “It serves as a way to gauge how the library can better serve the community, and we will give these answers to the McKenzie Memorial Library Board to assess what we should prioritize.”
The library hopes to increase its number of visitors by implementing ideas the community needs and wants.
The community survey closes June 1.
