ATWOOD, Tenn. (August 23, 2024) - West Carroll High School in Atwood, Tenn. announces an exciting new initiative for the 2024-2025 sports season: free admission for all West Carroll students to all regular, non-tournament home games. This decision, spearheaded by Principal Dr. Adam Douglas, aims to bolster school spirit and foster a more inclusive and engaged student community.

Dr. Douglas believes this change will encourage more students to participate in school events, creating a vibrant and supportive atmosphere. "We want every student to feel like they are a part of the West Carroll family," Dr. Douglas stated. "By offering free admission, we hope to see more students cheering on their peers, building camaraderie, and strengthening school spirit."

This initiative is expected to have a positive ripple effect throughout the school. With more students attending games, the energy and enthusiasm in the stands will undoubtedly boost the morale of our student-athletes. Additionally, it provides students with a safe and positive environment to socialize, build friendships, and develop a sense of belonging.

West Carroll High School invites you to attend a sporting event to see our stands filled with enthusiastic, supportive students. This initiative marks a significant step toward fostering a united and spirited school environment, and the school looks forward to a season of memorable moments and shared victories.
