REAGAN (September 15) — On Friday night, McKenzie High School Football Head Coach Wade Comer picked up his 200th win as a head coach. What is even more remarkable is that all the wins come from his tenure at McKenzie High School. more
REAGAN (September 15) — The McKenzie Rebels improved their record Friday night to 4-1 with the non-region road win at Scotts Hill. McKenzie handled Scotts Hill with ease as they picked up the 43-13 victory. more
HUNTINGDON (September 14) — The McKenzie Middle School Rebels traveled to Paul Ward Stadium Thursday night for a county matchup with the Huntingdon Middle School Mustangs. With a 20-0 shutout of the Rebels, Huntingdon remains undefeated at 5-0 for the season. more
McKENZIE — Ten McKenzie Middle School Softball players were honored on their last regular season home game. They along with their parents were recognized during a pre-game ceremony. more
McEWEN (September 8) — On Friday night, the Rebels traveled to middle Tennessee picking up their third win of the session and Coach Wade Comer’s 199th career win. In a quick-moving game, McKenzie led McEwen from start to finish picking up the 23-0 win. more

McKENZIE (AUGUST 31) — McKenzie Middle School Rebels football claimed a victory over neighboring West Carroll Junior High War Eagles at Randy Thomas Field in McKenzie. more
HENDERSON (September 1) — After a tough week two loss to Dresden, the McKenzie Rebels found their stride against the Chester County Eagles picking up the 28-12 win. McKenzie moved to 2-1 for the season. more
McKENZIE (August 11) — Recently, the McKenzie Rotary Club hosted the senior football players from McKenzie High School. Coach Wade Comer spoke of the upcoming season and the challenges ahead. The senior members of the team introduced themselves and stated the positions they play on the team. more
McKENZIE (August 25) — As they say, all good things must come to an end, and so it did for the McKenzie Rebels’ winning streak Friday night. After 16 consecutive wins and a state championship, the Rebels finally had to put one down in the loss column. The Dresden Lions handled McKenzie fairly easily in the week two matchup, coming away with the 42-14 victory. more
McKENZIE (August 18) — The 2022-23 Lady Rebels basketball team was honored for their state championship title during halftime festivities of the McKenzie/Huntingdon football game. more
McKenzie High School Lady Rebels Soccer Team won 3-1 over Gibson County on Tuesday, August 15. Sydney Rimmer scored two goals and Allie Walker scored one. Goalie Rachel Essary had six saves in the contest at the MHS field. more
McKENZIE (August 18) — For the fourth consecutive season, the McKenzie Rebels have defeated their cross-county rivals, the Huntingdon Mustangs. The 28-12, week one, home opening, win put the Rebels on the correct path to defending their 2022 state championship. more
PARIS (August 11) — In the final pre-season matchup before the start of the regular 2023 season, McKenzie scored early and held on to defeat the 6A Mustangs of McCracken County, 20-14. In the three-preseason game, McKenzie has been able to hold McNairy County, Lexington and McCracken County to a combined 20 points. Offensively, the Rebels have totaled 64 points in the three scrimmages. more
McKENZIE (August 5) — On Saturday, football teams from sixteen different middle schools clashed at Randy Thomas Field for the annual McKenzie Jamboree. Three Carroll County teams competed, including McKenzie, Huntingdon, and West Carroll Middle Schools. Each team played two twenty-minute quarters on one half of the football field, allowing double match-ups to occur simultaneously. more

The McKenzie Boys Soccer team (11-3-2) ran into a juggernaut Tuesday, May 23 as they faced off against Madison Magnet (17-0-1). The Rebels lost 5-0 in the opening round of the TSSAA State Championship Series. Brice Becerra and Charles Damron had the only goal attempts for McKenzie. Goalkeeper Tellez Renteria had four saves in the matchup. Madison Magnet went on to win the 1A State Soccer Championship defeating Alcoa 3-2 in the final round. Photo Courtesy Jess Martin more
The McKenzie Rebels baseball team made a run at the state title for baseball but was stopped in their tracks by the East Robertson Indians. The Rebels split with the Indians but were sent home after their 2-5 loss on Thursday, May 25 at the Spring Fling in the TSSAA State Tournaments. more
