The 24th Judicial Drug Court of the Circuit Judge Brent Bradberry, announces its new program director, Israel Melton. Mr. Melton will manage the program for the counties of Carroll, Henry and Benton. The program is in its second year and has been successful thus far. more
While vacationing at the beach this summer, Dr. Ryan Forbess played a critical role in saving a 15-year-old girl attacked by a shark. The incident occurred at Seacrest Beach on the Florida Panhandle. Dr. Forbess and his friend, Dr. Mohammad Ali, were in the water with their families when they noticed a commotion and saw blood. Acting quickly, they rushed to assist and helped save the girl. more

County Mayor Joseph Butler said, “After a thorough search and vetting of a number of very qualified candidates, I am excited to inform you that I have offered the EMA Director position to Steven ‘Trevor’ Foster, and he has accepted the position.” more

PARIS (November 7) — On November 7, over 300 attendees gathered at the West Tennessee Healthcare-Henry County Hospital (WTHHC) for a ribbon-cutting ceremony that marked a new chapter in healthcare for the community. more
