Estimated 4,000 Attend Boo Bash

McKENZIE (October 24) — The 11th annual Boo Bash in downtown McKenzie was the biggest ever, according to event sponsors, the City of McKenzie and Bethel University. An estimated 4,000 people attended the annual event that was scheduled for two hours but extended well beyond that time because of the larger than expected number of attendees. more

Bethel Announces Homecoming Event Schedule

The McKenzie High School Class of 1969 held their 55th class reunion on Saturday at the MHS cafeteria. 27 classmates were in attendance from as far away as Texas, Pennsylvania and Maryland. Terry Howell served as emcee. Leslie Putman blessed the delicious meal served by Hometown Hangout. After the meal everyone told a little about their life. Terry told some trivia from 1969 and then distributed prizes for correct answers for questions from the 1969 yearbook.
