Gibson spearheaded the creation of Pedestrian Park, turning a vacant lot in the heart of the downtown area into what is now one of the most utilized and beautiful amenities the city has to offer. more

The McKenzie Rotary welcomed Mayfield, Kentucky Mayor Kathy O’Nan as a guest and program speaker. O’Nan who has served as mayor since January 2019 faced the COVID-19 pandemic and the F4 tornado that leveled most of Mayfield on December 10, 2021. more

The McKenzie Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is hosting their annual Fall Festival Fundraiser on Saturday, October 28 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at McKenzie Elementary School. There is no entry fee and this event is open to the public. There is a Silent Auction full of themed baskets and local business certificates and goodies, a Cake Walk, a Costume Contest and prizes for grades Pre-K-4th, food, sweet treats and games.
