McKENZIE/Henry County (June 10) — State Representative Tandy Darby (R-Greenfield) and representatives for the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development visited Haven Steel on Monday to tour the manufacturing plant and its new upgraded machinery.

During the Public Works Committee Meeting, the press and non-Public Works Employees were requested to leave the meeting temporarily as the board moved into an executive session with the town’s attorney Robert Keeton, III.

Salute Our Vets 5K The American Legion Post 47 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 47 of Huntingdon are co-hosting the Second Annual Salute Our Vets 5K on Saturday, June 22 at 7 a.m. at the east side of the Carroll County Courthouse in Huntingdon.
