Twenty members answered the roll call, and the devotional was given by Donna Ward. She chose “Embracing our Spiritual Summer” as her topic and chose John 15:5 as her reference.

    McKENZIE (July 25) —With the school year starting today, paving crews finished paving projects at McKenzie Middle School and McKenzie High School just one day ahead of students arriving. New culverts and sidewalks were also installed at MMS. One new sidewalk was installed at MHS.

    McKENZIE — Earlier this year, many celebrated the life and career of Geneva Bledsoe as she turned 100 on Tuesday, February 20. On Monday, the long-time teacher at Webb School and McKenzie Elementary, died. Funeral arrangements are not yet available. The Banner will publish it as soon as details are available.

He asked me about my day, and we started talking. He mentioned that he was on his way back to Sacramento.
