Huntingdon Middle School Boys basketball Team is headed to Murfreesboro on Thursday, January 25 to play in the Haile State Tournament at Middle Tennessee Christian School. Game time is 4:30 p.m. Games have previously been postponed because of the wintry weather. Huntingdon plays Rickman in the first contest for Huntingdon. more
Christmas is less than a week away! Christmas and New Year’s fall on Mondays this year. Our normal deadline and press time are on Monday, which means early deadlines for the next two editions. The deadline for the December 26 edition is Friday, December 22 at NOON. Deadline for the January 2 edition is Friday, December 29 at NOON. The Banner office will be closed on Monday, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Thank you for allowing our staff this time with their families. more
The annual Carroll County Habitat for Humanity Gala is Thursday, November 9, 6 p.m. at the Carroll County Civic Center. Individual tickets are $50 each with proceeds going to build homes for more families in Carroll County. more

Huntingdon City Hall, 19810 E Main St, Huntingdon, Tenn. will be formally named “Dale R. Kelley Center” on Thursday, October 19, 2023. The dedication ceremony is after the 5:15 p.m. council meeting. This date was chosen in honor of former Mayor Kelley’s birthday. more

Bring out your lawn chairs, check out the parked food vendors, dance a little, and shop in downtown McKenzie while enjoying local talent.
