Hosted by Tennessee Farm Bureau, Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st and Tennessee Farmers Cooperative, Shooting Hunger is a sporting clays event raising funds to decrease food insecurity across Tennessee. more

GEORGIA PEACHES Carroll County Humane Society is taking orders for fresh Georgia peaches until June 20 and orders must be prepaid by that date. A box of 11-13 pounds is $30 and they will arrive fresh early July. Stop by during business hours or use PayPal us using cchstn@gmail.com to order. If using PayPal, send as friends and family to avoid a fee. Include your phone number so we can notify you as soon as the peaches arrive.  more
The Second Annual Dr. Tony Janner Memorial Golf Tournament is Saturday, July 16. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church Sanctuary Fund. more

McKenzie Farmers Market Reopens Saturday, June 4, 8 a.m., 2431 Cedar Street, in downtown McKenzie. The former Studebaker dealership was converted to an indoor/outdoor farmers market and allows area citizens to sell their homemade and homegrown foods and other products. more
