    Huntingdon Middle School Boys basketball Team is headed to Murfreesboro on Thursday, January 25 to play in the Haile State Tournament at Middle Tennessee Christian School. Game time is 4:30 p.m. Games have previously been postponed because of the wintry weather. Huntingdon plays Rickman in the first contest for Huntingdon.

    PARIS (January 21) — On Sunday at approximately 6:17 p.m. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an aircraft accident on Highway 69 north. Upon arrival, deputies located a small aircraft flipped upside down in the grassy area between the highway and the end of the runway at The Henry County Airport.

    McKENZIE (January 17) — On Wednesday, Stacy Myers of 101 Springdale Lane in the Henry County portion of McKenzie was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of schedule II controlled substance with intent, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

    GREENFIELD (January 21) — On Saturday, January 20, the Greenfield Police Department and Weakley County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in the city limits regarding a deceased female located inside a residence. The deceased, Krista Davis, was found lying on the kitchen floor with severe trauma wounds to her face and chest.
