McKENZIE — McKenzie High School is celebrating Homecoming 2023 this week. Friday includes a parade, a community pep rally, introduction of the Homecoming Court and the coronation of the queen, plus the Homecoming game featuring the McKenzie Rebels and the Houston County Fighting Irish.

HUNTINGDON (September 26) — Recreational vehicles can no longer be used as the principal use of any property inside the municipal limits of Huntingdon. The Huntingdon Mayor and Town Council approved the amendment during its September 26 meeting.

LINDEN (September 29) — The McKenzie Rebels wrapped up a five-week road revue picking up their sixth win on the season as they dominated the Perry County Vikings 57-7. The Rebels traveled to Linden for the week seven Region 6-1A win moving to 6-1 on the season and 3-0 in the region.

HUNTINGDON (September 28) — Huntingdon’s Middle School Mustangs welcomed Jackson Northeast at Paul Ward Stadium Thursday night for the their last season match-up. With a 22-8 victory over the Jaguars, Huntingdon finished their season undefeated at 7-0, with a total 232 points scored and only 26 allowed.
