    TENNESSEE (August 12) — Average gasoline prices in Tennessee decreased 8.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.97/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 3,821 stations in Tennessee. Prices in Tennessee are 13.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 44.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has declined 3.4 cents in the last week and stands at $3.72 per gallon- the lowest level since January, 2022, over 900 days ago.

  • West Carroll School Board Approves Budget

    ATWOOD (August 8) — The West Carroll school board met on Thursday August 8 and approved the fiscal year 2024-’25 budget. The $11.6 million budget includes $1.5 million in improvements to the Primary and Elementary schools as well as new asphalt paving for all three schools in the district, some of which is already completed.
