Soup For Life
Beating Hearts Help Center is hosting Soup For Life on November 16, 2021 from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 16835 Highland Drive in McKenzie. It is all you can eat: soup, sandwich, dessert and drink for only $25. Jim Keeling of Earthen Vessels Pottery and Gifts in Martin will perform pottery demonstrations. McKenzie and West Carroll High Schools have planned Veterans’ Day programs for this week. McKenzie’s program begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 11, with several students reading historical documents and poems. The band will play several patriotic and military style pieces. The keynote speaker will be Garrett Burns.

HUNTINGDON — Carroll County, Tennessee is 200 years old on November 7, 2021. An afternoon and evening of faith, food, music and fireworks will commemorate the founding of the county. The event is free and at the Carroll County Civic Center. The doors open at 4 p.m. and the event begins at 5 p.m. Admission is free of charge.
