McKENZIE (June 9) — Two individuals arrested in May were arrested again June 9 following a search warrant at the same residence in McKenzie. The arrests came as a result of a joint investigation into illegal drug activity by special agents with the Drug Investigation Division of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, McKenzie Police Department, Huntingdon Police Department, and the 24th Judicial Drug Task Force. more
License Violation­ — Christopher Lee Douglas, 50, of 1000 High Street, Hollow Rock, was cited for driving on a suspended license during a June 7 traffic stop in Hollow Rock. more

Domestic Assault — The McKenzie Police Department received a call from a Hillview Apartment early Sunday morning, June 12, regarding an altercation that had taken place. more
Drugs, License Violation — Bedford Wortham, 48, of Huntingdon was charged with possession of schedule II with intent, drug paraphernalia, and driving on a revoked license (second offense) during a May 15 traffic stop in Huntingdon. more
Bradley Jay Hollowell, 59, of Huntingdon to Elizangela Hellen Neumeister, 30, of Huntingdon. more
Thefts at City Parks — A city maintenance building at McKenzie Park was broken into and the keys to a city truck were taken. No other items were taken on the report filed May 27 by Officer Kyle Beauchamp. On May 28, Officer Beauchamp returned to the park where the concession at the baseball field was broken into. A computer monitor, DVR hard drive and Samsung remote had been stolen from the upstairs press box. The DVR was part of the park’s surveillance system. more

Assault — Phillip Richar Colwell, 58, of 888 Republican Grove Road, Trezevant, and Philip Charles Colwell, 37, of Milan were both arrested for aggravated assault, and Aston Steele Salmon was cited for simple assault, all during a May 21 incident involving numerous people in Atwood. more
