LINDEN (September 16) — McKenzie Rebels blanked Perry County Vikings in a Region 6-1A contest on Friday, September 16. The Rebels traveled 1.5 hours to the middle Tennessee town of Linden. more

The anticipated battle between 4-0 McKenzie and 4-1 Huntingdon turned into a lopsided affair full of penalties with the Mustangs going home with a 38-14 win. more

McKenzie High School Soccer The McKenzie Lady Rebels are headed into the back half of their regular season schedule. They lost to Jackson Southside in a close contest 7-6 on Tuesday August 30. McKenzie had a 6-3 lead and it slipped away at the end for the loss. more

McKENZIE (September 9) — McKenzie Rebels are 4-0 after defeating the Obion County Rebels 49-14 on Randy Thomas Field on Friday, September 9. The senior-heavy MHS Rebels controlled the game on offense and defense, leaving the visitors feeling the strength of the 2021 Class 1A runners-up. more

ATWOOD — McKenzie Middle’s Rebels traveled to Atwood on Thursday, September 1 for a game against the unbeaten War Eagles. It didn’t take long for either team to score with both teams finding the end zone early in the first quarter for a 6-6 tie halfway through the quarter. more

McKENZIE — The McKenzie Middle School Lady Rebels softball team played host to Bruceton on Tuesday, August 30 coming away with a 4-3 victory. more

The Lady Rebel Soccer season is well underway having hosted their first four matches at home in August. The season opener against Sacred Heart was a forfeit win. more

The McKenzie Golf team is already nearing the end of their regular season and preparing for district and region tournaments in September. more

HUNTINGDON (August 19) — The 2022 season for the McKenzie Rebels started with a bang Friday night as the Rebels picked up a 34-12 week one win over in-county rival Huntingdon. In their 92nd meeting, McKenzie’s speed on both sides of the ball left Huntingdon in search of an answer. Just as Mustang Head Coach Eric Swenson said in pregame interviews, “Speed kills,” Huntingdon’s home opener wish died with the opening kickoff.  more

PARIS — The McKenzie Middle School Rebels had a successful first road trip to Henry County, Thursday, August 18, defeating Henry County Middle 34-8. more

McKenzie High School Soccer The Lady Rebel soccer played host to Scotts Hill on Thursday, August 18 at home losing 2-1. Kassidy Brown scored the lone goal for McKenzie. more

McKenzie High Golfers had two matches on Monday, August 8, and Thursday August 11 both on the road. The first match was at Wynridge Golf Club in Troy competing against Union City and Obion Central. Mother Nature interrupted the match about half way through it with the players forced to leave the course due to lightning. more

McKENZIE — The McKenzie Middle Rebels opened their season Thursday, August 11, hosting Dresden’s Lions winning the game 28-12. more

PARIS — Several local teams were in action at the Henry County Jamboree including McKenzie, West Carroll, Henry County, and Dresden. more
